The Facilitator delivers before/after school program services by implementing lesson plans and activities under the direction of the ECE Site Facilitator and maintaining a safe school environment for preschool students.
DETAILS:
- 9 ½ month school year positions, on a 196 day calendar for 2018-19
- Part-time, less than 20 hours per week
- No fringe benefits
- Job begins 08/10/2018
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Requires a high school diploma or GED
- Prefers candidate with prior experience supervising children in a daycare, school, or camp setting
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing and must be able to write reports and business correspondence
- Requires the ability to present information and respond to questions from parents and school staff in a positive, professional manner
- Requires the ability to follow oral instructions to implement lessons and activities based on program goals and objectives and the needs and qualities of students
- Requires the ability to maintain confidential information
- Requires the knowledge of working with children with disabilities
- Requires the willingness to complete job-related training
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively with students in redirecting and using positive reinforcement
- Requires the ability to effectively supervise preschool-age children
- Requires the ability to obtain and maintain CPR and First Aid certification during employment
- Requires the ability to work with a diverse population
- Requires current Hepatitis A vaccination series to be completed or willingness to complete
