DETAILS:
- Positions works as needed, if needed, during the school year (9 ½ months)
- District-wide
- Not to exceed 29 hours/week
- No fringe benefits
- Anticipated starting date is immediately upon hire
QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
Requires an RN license
Requires a minimum of one year of nursing experience
Requires the ability to maintain confidential information
Requires current CPR, First Aid, and AEDS (defibrillation equipment) training
Requires excellent communication skills (verbal & written) and ability to work from written or oral instructions under limited supervision
Requires the ability to present information and respond to questions from parents and school staff in a positive, professional manner
Requires the ability to communicate effectively with students in redirecting and using positive reinforcement
Requires the ability to solve problems and respond to situations in a calm, caring manner
Requires the ability to work with a diverse population
Requires the ability to work in a team environment, communicate and collaborate with building and district staff
Prefers the knowledge of working with children with disabilities
