DETAILS:

• All positions are subject to adequate enrollment and are temporary summer positions
• No fringe benefits
• Program location is Affton Early Childhood Center
• Positions needed for 4 preschool-age camps
• Summer School employment is a commitment to work all days in the session

Time Frame

            Tentative program dates:

                        Session 1 ->  June 8 – 18, 2026

                        (Not in session on June 19th)

                        Session 2 ->  June 22 – July 2, 2026

     (Not in session on July 3rd)

                        Session 3 ->  July 6 – 17, 2026

     Session 4 ->  July 20 – 31, 2026

            Program is 8 weeks (4 sessions of two weeks)

            Preschoolers will be in session daily from 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

            Teachers work Monday - Friday, 5 hours/day (Total stipend is $1,512 per 10-day session or $1,372 per 9-day session)

            Position also works equivalent of 4 hrs/session, for pre/post program preparation

      Juneteenth on June 19th and Independence Day on July 3rd are non-work/school days          

      Dates may be adjusted by administration as needed

            Summer ECE pay dates are TBD

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree and appropriate Missouri teaching certification required

External candidates must have a resume entered into Unified Talent Applicant Tracking, prior to the closing date, in order to be considered for a position. Cover letters and copies of transcripts are optional. Verification of certification and transcripts will be requested upon hire.

Current employees must complete an abbreviated summer Unified Talent application, by applying as an internal applicant.
