ANTICIPATED START DATE: Immediately Upon Hire

DETAILS: 12-month support staff position with district-recognized holidays and paid sick and personal leave. This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position, with a district provided benefits package that includes employee health, dental, life and vision insurance. 

LOCATION: Gotsch Intermediate School

COMPENSATION: According to the 2026-27 Support Staff Pay Schedule, placement within the range is based on like experience. The starting hourly rate for this position is $16.74. 

JOB SUMMARY: To provide students with a safe, clean, efficient and comfortable place in which to learn, play and develop to their full potential.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Cleaning experience preferred
• Requires the ability to perform essential functions of the position
• Requires the ability to safely operate all custodial equipment
• Requires the ability to be dependable and punctual
• Requires the ability to read & interpret documents such as operating & maintenance instructions, procedures, safety rules, etc.
• Requires willingness to complete job-related training
• Requires the ability to work independently, use good judgment, and be able to follow written and oral instructions
• Requires the ability to remain flexible & positive with the demands of the job without losing sight of the mission, task or assignment
• Requires the ability to develop effective working relationships with students and the school community
• Requires the ability to work with a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural population
